Taking down your Christmas tree already? Well, here’s the true story of a tree that almost took me down! (Don’t worry, in the end it was all bark.)

I wrote this story in 2009 after a very strange experience, and it was published in Kung Fu Magazine. Rereading it fifteen years later, I am only cringing a little bit. It’s all still true.
