Welcome to a Friday evening edition of Twadpockle Thursday (#TPT)!
Today’s link of consequence shows why the top two cultural/political commentators of the Western world are who they are: they are simply the grownups of their field, so grown up that they are able to horseshoe all the way around to underwater UFOs and JFK assassination theories. If you’re not sure how that works, you’ll just have to listen.
This conversation is thoughtful, introspective, nuanced, and sincere. It is hard to imagine any of their Lilliputian media rivals behaving like this—in candor, like human beings—denuded of talking points, modernist bravado, camera poses, and vocal affectations. Less is more, pockles!
(VIDEO) Joe Rogan Experience #2138 - Tucker Carlson
aired 18 Apr 2024 -- 11,321,482 views
Carlson describes his journey from blue-pilled GOP neocon to independent thinker, and the freedom of shedding parochial beliefs. At the 9:00 mark, “Every assumption about America I bought completely, just completely, and I thought that everyone who questioned those assumptions was bad.”
Rogan is a progressive ex-Bernie Sanders voter who just wanted to talk about martial arts and cool-boy stuff but kept seeing things he couldn’t unsee. Now he talks about things he can’t un-talk, and the world, it seems, cannot un-listen.
As always, both personalities have been branded “far right” by the legacy twerps they have outpaced.
